Nature and those beings within her are the subjects of my art. They bring me joy so I contemplate them on my brush and canvas.

On the farm

The farm provides endless subjects for fun paintings. Goats and cows and chickens all have big personalities in beautiful settings.

VISIT

In the air

Birds helped me take flight with acrylic paints. I found inspiration in the turkey vultures in the fields after they are hayed and at the Cascade Raptor center in Eugene Oregon.
Learning to paint their feathers and to make their eyes come alive taught me volumes.
